    Fraunhofer Society is Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization. As one of its 67 specialized research institutes in Germany, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE develops systems, components, materials and processes in the areas of the electrical and thermal use of solar energy. Another main focus is the investigation of reliability and lifetime.

     

     

    Loughborough University’s contribution will be delivered by the Applied Photovoltaics Research Group in the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST) in the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering. The research focus of this team is the performance of photovoltaics.

     

     

    The University of Ljubljana is the largest university in Slovenia. The Laboratory of Photovoltaics and Optoelectronics (LPVO) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is the central research group for photovoltaics (PV) in Slovenia with expertise in the field of photovoltaics.

     

     

     

    Fundación CENER-CIEMAT – the National Renewable Energies Center of Spain is a technological centre dedicated to R&D on renewable energies. Specifically the Photovoltaic Solar Energy Department has 21 people fully dedicated to R&D and Innovation in PV aspects from the PV materials, through devices (cells and modules) until the final PV plant working and generating electricity.

     

    The Polymer Competence Center Leoben GmbH is the leading Austrian “Center of Excellence” for cooperative research in the area of polymer engineering and sciences. Together with the polymer industry and in close cooperation with its scientific partners, PCCL is active in several fields of application for plastics ranging from automotive and aircraft, to packaging, and solar and photovoltaic industries.

     

     

    EURAC was established in 1992 as a private non-profit organization for advanced research and further education. The Institute for Renewable Energy works in the field of system integration of renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions for buildings. The activities range from monitoring and numerical simulation to laboratory testing.

     

     

    EDF is a world leader on electricity distribution, production, transport and since 2014 also a world leader in renewable energy via it's subsidary EDF Energies Nouvelles, owned at 100%. In France EDF employees about 150 000 people. EDF R&D employees about 2000 people.

     

     

     

    BayWa r.e. Operation Services S.r.l. is the leading independent PV plants management company operating in Italy, with an Italian track record exceeding 570 MW of renewable asset under management the majority of which with full Operation and Maintenance services. Globally BayWa r.e. renewable energy has an overall track record exceeding 2.300 MW.
